My birthday is tomorrow and I am turning 25!! But it is shadowed by the fact that it is the anniversary of my grandfather's death... 6 years he has been gone.
The first few years were the hardest and I did not want to do anything for my birthday but I have come to believe now that it is important to celebrate my birthday... I am also learning that it is ok to be sad to. I don't need to hide it or pretend it isn't there.
Sometimes what I can just get so upset about is all the things he has missed over the last 6 years... good things...
Here are some of those things...
I have new brother, his name is Dawson, he is 4 years old. You would really like him, he is very strong willed!! He loves to play with older brothers, him and Greg get along really well!
Dennis and Charmaine have 3 kids... one was just born this past summer... so altogether that is 4 more grandkids to the total!
I went to Australia with an organisation called YWAM... I stayed there for just over 2 years. Well I was there I also went to South Africa, India, Thailand, Brunei, Singapore and Cambodia.
Now I am living in city in Southern Russia called Rostov on Don. I am also working with YWAM. I have been here almost 3 months. I love it!
Kenneth has graduated and is a heavy duty mechanic... he is really good!!! He has a girfriend, she was raised on a farm. He spends lots of time out there with the cows!
Preston is into biking... he can do amazing tricks. You should see his trampoline bike.
Zach is a reader, all the time you will find him in a book or listening to stories. He is very smart and loves random facts.
Greg loves to build things... lego especially!! He is adventrous and always thinking, the other day he told me about a bow and arrow he built.
Hannah... is growing up fast. She just turned 9. She loves horses, she would have loved to hear the stories of your horse that you kept in the house! She also loves to read and is always telling me about her latest book.
Lyddia is not far behind... she is turning 7 this year. She is a great helper. She loves to do whatever you are doing ir atleast try.
