Yes, I can not really believe that I am using that as a title, but I am so lets go!!
Its about learning Russian. I have been quite shocked at how much I can understand these days!! Yes, I am slow, yes I have a long way to go but if people talk slowly and simply I can understand... yeah!!
Speaking has been harder for me, I understand but finding the right words to respond is more difficult!
I get so excited, over excited and way to confident for then I start thinking about all the things I could possibly talk about and say in English about being able to say and talk about ALL of those things in Russian... whoah!
Just think of the most random conversation you recently had... hmm, for me probably about making a trophy out of potatoes and tinfoil or what about the most intellectual conversation you recently had... probably something to do with Judges in the Bible... I can not even imagine knowing Russian bible names, I have a hard enough time getting my head wrapped around English ones!
hmm... so maybe proud of myself is not quite correct. But then never mind, today I understood so that is good for today!

Good job! I found the same with spanish, so much easier to understand then to speak. Keep up the hard work.
Nothing wrong with being proud ;) Like anything it's when it is used with the wrong motive it is not particularly great, God gave us it, it's an emotion ;)
