Just doing it...

There is a definite lack of people working here in Rostov. SO... if you want to come please feel free.... There is no lack of vision, the dreams that us group of small people have... its incredible!!

One of the areas is the street kids area as the leader stepped down there has not been anything happening. This is/was the area that I came to work in here in Rostov so I have been waiting... and waiting... waiting... 7 weeks... that is a lot of waiting for me!!! There is suppose to be someone coming, but she has not come.

So, this weekend I spoke to my leaders and said I won't wait any longer, I have to start something. Please do not get the idea that I have been doing nothing, for I have been doing plenty it is just not in the specific area that I came here for...
So we came up with a plan... for now it is a lot of prayer walking and exploring the city. I am by myself at the moment so I have strict boundaries to keep and strong accountability for my own safety. I am hoping others either from base or around the world will come soon!!!!

One of the things God spoke to me about as something I can do is to be consistent... let people get to reconize me, let people slowly get to know me with or without translation. It is an important thing here as Russians are suspicious of new things, new people, especially foreigners.
So what I am hoping to do is to plan out a route to walk around the city, to learn where there are people/kids and to just be a familiar face for a while...

its good, its a challenge!
