Getting back into a routine here in Russia... a challenge but one I am most enjoying.
In the mornings I work in the office and in the afternoon I have been going out with homeless ministries.
My first staff meeting back... I was trying to get prepared for lots of yelling (its normal here) fortunately all went really really well... maybe next week!!
We bring Tea and sandwiches. Most of the homeless we know in this area, though occassionally there will be new faces.
Yesterday, outside the gates of the big central orthodox church we were talking with Nickoli. From across the street some young men reconize us and come to get to get their's.
One of the men with them came to speak english especially. He was pointed in my direction since I can ONLY speak english... and he sang to me. He was drunk, but he was so much fun. The song was about a captain sailing on the seas and different adventures. He was quite disappointed that I did not know the song... he sang all the verses for me. At the end of the song he introduced himself as Vladimir or Bob.
I hope I get to see him again one day...
