Berlin

A new city in a new country added to my list!! (Just for you Ruth!)

Well day one is almost over here are some of my first impressions.
Beautiful
the ground is clean - no garbage BUT there is graffie all over the place some places are very surprising.
the people are friendly and most of them have a good basis of english - thanks germany!
I love the way they dress. I find this it very relaxing especially in coming from Russia where they dress up. I would say that most people just dress comfortably and then others are just very different.
I love the hair styles and colour. I have seen pink, blue, green and purple all on guys and girls today. I have seen mohawks, shaved heads, long and lots in between on guys and girls today - its fun!
Also... they really like to ride bikes here. I have never seen so many in my life (I have never been to The Netherlands for I have been told its just like there)

some highlights
- seeing a verz pregant mommey to be trying to ride a bike,
- seeing a couple get in a fight and watching her dump his supper all over him
- a man unconscious on the side of the road (a highlight because it reminded me of russia)
- watching karoke in the park, and they guy dressed in a white suit who sang "Can't Touch This"
- walking around a corner and almost running into a guy who was peeing on the side of the building. I turned around and walked around the whole block to get to where I wanted to go!
- sitting in a church and listening to a man play and sing with an organ

I think that is good for today.

Tomorrow morning I am going to the Russian Embassy so please keep me in your prayers so it all goes well and there are no delays!

Byes!
