In the village

This past weekend I got to go to a village called Vasolee(not spelt at all correctlt!) I went with Ruth and Sarah, Artem and their kids. We ran the youth service!

When we first arrived we visited old friends of Sarah and Artem's. They fed us and allowed us to hang out at there place. They had chickens and turkeys which were very fun to see and as we ventured further into the neighboring farm fields we found a flock of sheep (is it a flock?).

We ventured onto the church which was a room in a house close by. The youth led us un worship and we took over in a unconventional type service. It was fun! We did a questionnaire type game and we had video stuff and lots of pics. We also played chubby bunny... it was hilarious! And they had a toilet paper clothing contest.
We advertised for the upcoming DTS and had a good response which was very exciting!!

Ruth and I headed back to Rostov that night but Sarah and Artem stayed and preached in the church service the following day.

It was a great day, I loved seeing the country side. On the way there we got lost which just added to the excitement especially since we were able to get the police to help us (which does not happen easily!).
