First Impressions

4 Days in Moldova... here is some of what I see.

There are lots and lots of wild dogs. I thought Rostov had a lot... Chisinau beats it!
The people are very friendly.
They don't mind speaking Russian, it is so nice not to have to try and understand another language.
McDonald's has wireless internet and that is a very good thing. (though at the moment I am in the internet club)
They have conductors on the trolley bus that come and take your money - the other night our conductor asked us to leave our tickets on the seat - i was confused but the Russians were not. He gives them out again and pockets the money - we left them for him!
Tony's Pizza is a good pizza place - some would say as good as Pizza Hut and conveniently in Chisinau it is everywhere.
There are a lot of unfinished buildings in this city, I have never seen anything quite like it though I have been told it is the same in St. Petersburg.
"Alimentara" - this means grocery store (a small one) in Moldovan. This is a very important phrase to learn right away as everyone gets hungry!
One of my favorite foods in Russia is a little cereal like thing called in English "pillows" here in Moldova they have apple, berry and coconut flavours - different but ok!
There seems to be a lot of men here... I don't know why it just seems like they are everywhere.
They sell beer in McDonald's
There seems to be a lot of wide open spaces here in the city. The other day we ended up in a field when we were suppose to be in the city center.

Alright that is all for now
