It is Christmas eve...

in some parts of the world.
In the parts of the world where I have always celebrated Christmas before. Yes, this year is very very different for me. It is Christmas eve and though there is a Christmas tree... I am working tomorrow! Everyone here in Russia is working tomorrow. So, my question has been... do I celebrate Christmas for myself? Do I celebrate it because I have always celebrated it on that day or do I just do it like the Russians? Celebrate new year's and Jan 7th. Do I do both? Does it even matter? It is Christmas eve and I have not decided.
Well actually I kind of have... i want to do both I just need to decide what that will look like. I am thinking Christmas oranges for homeless people - and a Merry Christmas from Canada - because that is where I am from!
Come New Year's we are having a party so that will be fun as well... and then come January 7th I would like to go to the Orthodox service - they stay up at an ALL night service the night before so that will be very different!
