Poland

What a difference there is between England and Poland. YEs I had been expecting that but it still hits you when you arrive.
Warsaw is a unique city. I was chatting with a girl from my hostel from England and she was telling me that it was all basically destroyed by the Nazis' so all the monuments, palaces, buildings etc... were built in the 60's and 70's. It gave me a new perspective as I walked through the city again.
One fun thing is that I have gotten free bus rides around the city. When I first got on at the airport I went to the front of the bus with my money all ready. The Bus driver just smiled, said something in Polish and gave me a thumbs up sign, then pointed to a seat. I stood confused for a second and then quickly found a seat as he began to drive. I asked everyone around me but no one spoke English, or so they claimed. 45 minutes later I got off at my stop. When I asked an info booth about it... he laughed and said oh well.
It was confusing but fun!!
some prayer requests below!
1. I have a cold. nothing to serious but it does make travelling even a little more uncomfortable. Please pray it will pass quickly!!2. Please pray as I travel on the train. There was only a second class option for my ticket so i will be in a room with 4 beds. Please pray for safety. PLease pray for wisdom in watching over my belongings and meeting people on the train. IT is a 17 hour train journey.3. Please pray for my time in the Ukriane. I will be meeting with the leaders who will be overseeing my time when I am not in Russia. I have lots of questions for them and I am sure they have them for me.
