Hello Hello!

I want to officially invite you to be apart of the blogging you find below. They are to show a piece of my journey; what has been, what is and what is to come.
I invite you to come back and be apart of the stories, my thoughts, frustrations and laughs. I invite you to be apart of my good days and the not so good ones.
Join me as I travel to Russia, Eastern Europe and other places. Join me as I step out in faith to where I believe that God is calling me.

Life...

I apolgize about not updating this more.
I have been struggling into getting into some kind of routine but it should be getting better, I am hoping. Things are a little more normal around here now that the minsitry team is gone. So I will work on updating this more often.

I love it!! Things are challening yes... it is hard, harder then I ever thought it could be. BUT overall I am excited about the challenge and the good/fun times defently out weigh the difficult ones. Language is still the biggest issue and will be for many months.
One of the Russian staff members on the YWAM base said to me..." in 2 months Rachel, you will know the language... it is easy" I laughed and said to my translator... that would be some amazing record if I could learn it all in 2 months...
but hey... I think I will pray for that!!! So feel free to join me on that one!!!!!

One of my favorite things is going out and doing homeless minstry. I go out with a guy from the base here, he knows little english which makes things that much more difficult but also much more fun as we laugh at eachother. Today I had these young ladies who live on the street touching my hair and giving me kisses... i was looking desperately at the guy I was with... he was just laughing and saying... "Its Ok... not a problem" I tried hard to relax, and can laugh better about it now then I could at the moment!!

Byes for now
