Tuesday Nights

After the evangelistic concert we had in August our biggest concern was follow up. We did not want it to just be a one off with nothing more. So... Tuesday nights were born!!!
The first Tuesday we had 3 people, now we have 5 that come!
I feel so privileged that God entrusts us with people to get to know, to love, to teach about Him. They really are a precious bunch!!
The first thing to understand is that we do not live in the best neighbourhood, not even a good one really... we live in the worst neighbourhoods so based on that info you can imagine the people who come to our Tuesday nights. They are a rough bunch, recent black eyes and stories of the week's happenings. They come though because they like to talk, have tea and fellowship.

This is Sergey(LEFT) sitting with our staff member Victor. Sergey has come faithfully from the beginning. He loves being with us, he always talks about the atmosphere and goes on and on about this is the only place where he has no desire to smoke! He is eager and willing to talk about all. He has taken 2 bibles, one big one for home and one New Testament that can fit in his pocket. We are praying for his drinking problem and that he would choose to go to rehab!
